A trip to Czech Republic

despite the tiredness after spending 2 freakin nites in Frankfurt-Hahn airport>Dortmund airport>chased out fromt airport to the streets>mcD...we finally reached Prague International Airport.

10 hearts were already screaming Jolin Tsai's song "Prague Square"!

after settling down in our hostel,we went around searching for traditional czech food...

-qris+me shared this and we couldn finish it XD and this is supposed to be a 1person meal (-___-"') price: 300czk.

1GBP = 39.70 czk...u do the math.
didn't expect food is so cheap in czech...and most importantly for the guys...CHEAP+BIG+MEAT!da guys came out satisfied...and happie.while the herbivorous wern and me smell trouble XD

when heesheong our czech tour guide announced tht we've already reached the legendary prague square,i was like..."heck?!" o.O frankly i was a wee bit disappointed lor...ANYWAYS,yea..i went prague square,saw the astronomical clock,saw the Church of Our Lady before Tyn(someone said it looks like some fairytale castle where the bad fella live in)......

walked across the famous Charles bridge,da scenery there was nice...managed 2cure my disappointment abit lar XD then we visited the Prague castle...nice stuff,relatively cheap entrance fee compared to the Edinburgh castle's 11GBP but still feel abit conned.talkin about kiamsiap-ness...

was supposed to leave Prague for Český Krumlov but somehow due to various reasons we didnt make it,so decided to stay back. and oh ya,we went up the pseudo-Eifel tower as well.

last day in Czech was spent in Kutná Hora,a place i've been bugging heesheong that "we die die also must visit".visited the Ossuary,where its interior consists of REAL human bones..yup,tonnes of human bones.

see the white piles of "thing" behind the bars?yups..all 100%human bones,mostly skulls...4huge piles of them in total.

-chandelier consists of all types of human bones situated right in the centre of the room-

-goblet made of human bones-

visited the church of St.Barbara as well...where it's exterior reminds me of Taj Mahal XD

the highlight of my trip to Kutná Hora however.........

was my FIRST APPLE TREE!!

Edinburgh 2

went Edinburgh for the 2nd time...1st time for Fringe festival,2nd time for Edinburgh International Festival's fireworks. the fireworks was a wee bit disappointing but the trip was good...exhausted,but GOOD =D

luyi+me were late coz we couldnt prepare da potato wedges in time...reached there around 7:20pm, wern&gang "chooped" 6 plates of food for both of us (-____-|||) talkin about pigs feeding...XD

anyway,the food was good...feed me with malaysian food of any kind now,i'll tell u the food is freakin nice.even vincent's nasi campur in imu oso i will say nice liao XD
